A Hawthorne family garden developed from a single raised bed into a more intentional, year-round edible space. Beginning with one bed, the focus shifted from spring planting to year-round production—laying the foundation for expansion into a second bed in the following season. Both spaces are now supported through tailored seasonal plans, succession planting, and curated plant sourcing, alongside ongoing monthly guidance and family planting days.
